I live by the idea that everything I need, I can make: with my hands, my mind, or my community. My life is an ongoing study of how creativity, science, and self-sufficiency shape the human experience. I cook every meal, craft what I use, and grow what heals me. My home functions as both workshop and laboratory: clay, wood, herbs, and film are the mediums through which I study connection between body and brain, person and planet.
This same curiosity drives my professional work as a producer and art director. For 15 years, I've led large-scale productions across film, television, and live events, managing complex logistics while maintaining creative vision. I bring the same intentionality to production that I bring to my personal practice: understanding how systems work, how people collaborate, and how to build things that actually matter.
Trained in wilderness response and trauma-informed movement education, I work at the intersection of body and mind. My creative practice draws on traditional African and Indigenous craft techniques (papermaking, natural textiles, ceramics), using these methods as ways to heal, reconnect, and build community. Whether I'm throwing a pot, directing a shoot, or formulating an herbal tincture, I'm exploring what it means to live and work consciously in a world that has forgotten how to make things by hand.
